Error reading file due to malformed XML data" file^//instance/CommonDomain_webtier/config/OHS/ohs1/webgate/config/password****

During Confgure primary/secondary phase of

Fusion Applications 11.1.4

the issue was listed as to touch

3 files as per document 1473940.1



In order to resolve the issue need to follow the below steps as a Workaround.
1. Before re-running the configure-secondary rerun, create the files password.xml, aaa_key.pem and aaa_cert.pem.

cd /webtier_mwhome/oracle_common/modules/oracle.oamprovider_11.1.1/output/OraFusionApp_11AG
touch password.xml
touch aaa_key.pem
touch aaa_cert.pem

 

2. After configure-secondary completes, remove the files password.xml, aaa_key.pem, aaa_cert.pem files.

Note: As per development, it recommended  to keep the copy of the files before deletion so that if require we can restore them to location /webtier_mwhome/oracle_common/modules/oracle.oamprovider_11.1.1/output/OraFusionApp_11AG.

But after that you may encounter:

Fix:
password.xml at the location
/oracle/CSIFUSION/instance/CommonDomain_webtier/config/OHS/ohs1/webgate/config

is empty

copy the file from /admin/ohs_inst/config/OHS/ohs1/webgate/config/simple to the location
/oracle/CSIFUSION/instance/CommonDomain_webtier/config/OHS/ohs1/webgate/config

then restart opmn from

APPLTOP/instances/CommonWebtier/bin

The ports will be opened and the errors are solved...
