While upgrading Fusion Applications, After enabling ldapsync between OIM and OID, only a few users
orcladmin,public,policyROUser, and PolicyRWuser were imported into OIM from OID.
Other users created with prepareIDStore "oimadmin,oamadmin,weblogic_idm,
weblogic_admin,oaamadmin" are not imported.
The error at OIM was
oracle.iam.platform.kernel.EventFailedException: IAM-3050127:An error occurred in user name generation. Please provide either Email or First Name and Last Name for DefaultComboPolicy.:Email:First Name:Last Name:
login to OIM
Search Sytem Properties from welcome page under Advanced
Click advanced search
Contains: user
Select Defalut policy for User creation
look for the value
oracle.iam.identity.usermgmt.impl.plugins.DefaultComboPolicy
if it set, the policy has been set correctly.
Please login to ODSM with cn=orcladmin and password
Navigate to users,
Verify, username, like first name, last name and email are correctly popluated.
Correct if email IDs are not in correct format.
Then run
LDAP User Creation and Update full reconsilation scheduled job from OIM.
The users should be populated from OID now.
