Installation of Oracle BAM (Business Activity Monitoring)

Today, I need to explain the steps detailed to install Oracle BAM in Windows 2003 Enterprise Server

Pre-Requisite:

Oracle DATABASE 10.2.0.2 or higher (for Standalone BAM Installation) If you want to connect with external database, Please install 10g Database client coming along with the BAM Software.

.NET framework Version 1.1 (If you dont have, Oracle BAM installation will install automatically)

Step : 1

1.Install Windows 2003 Enterprise Server

2. Create User BAM inside Administrator Group

3. Disable Terminal Services (if anything running)

(if you install BAM with terminal services it will end up in error Please refer Metalink ID: 566214.1)

4. Enable Remote Desktop Login for user BAM

5. Configure IIS Server (Internet Information Services) for Microsoft coming along with Windows 2003 server.

a. Configure Your Server from Start-> Administrator Tools

b. Select IIS from the List (Follow the screen steps)
